The back seat of the 2008 CTS seems to be lower and harder to get in and out of vs. the my old 2005 CTS. Was there a change and why?

There were some design changes due to the body shape design. This model is actually a differenent chasis (322 vs 320) and therefore the heights could be different. Its a new model is the short answer.
