  • 1.I purchased the Spoiler thru Lindsey Cadillac for $318.75 plus $15 shipping
  • 2.The tools you will need:

  • A.Scissors and Tape
  • B.Screwdriver
  • C.Drill with a half inch arbor, 12mm drill bit, 40mm drill bit, and bit set (I used a hammer and nail)
  • D.The bolts on the spoiler are ¼ inch standard. I purchased 6-1 inch washers with ¼ in opening, 6 lock washers, and 6 nuts.
  • E.Socket wrench

  • 3.Open the trunk and remove the lining on the lid. There are 6-7 plastic threaded anchors that pop off. There is one anchor by the trunk release latch that unscrews.
  • 4.Close the trunk lid
  • 5.Cut the template accordingly and secure to trunk lid with the tape
  • 6.Use your drill bit set (or hammer and nail) and tap the metal in the three locations indicated by the template. If you don’t do this and go straight to drilling, the drill may slip across the trunk and damage other areas.
  • 7.Hold your breadth and start drilling using the 12mm bit.
  • 8.Flip the template and repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other side of the trunk.
  • 9.Cut the other template accordingly and secure to the interior of the trunk lid with the tape
  • 10.Use your drill bit set (or hammer and nail) and tap the metal in the four locations indicated by the template.
  • 11.Hold your breadth and start drilling with the 40mm bit.
  • 12.Drill the last two locations on each end of the trunk at the bend in the frame of the trunk lid. This will allow you to secure both ends of the spoiler.
  • 13. Remove the sticky from the spoiler and place on the trunk. The bolts on the spoiler are ¼ inch and the holes drilled on top are 12mm, this will allow enough play to place the spoiler in the exact location.
  • 14.Secure the spoiler with washers and nuts.
  • 15.I used an air compressor to blow out all the metal shavings from the drilling and then followed up with vacuuming the trunk area.
  • 16.Place the trunk lid lining.
  • 17.Wash the car immediately as there will be a lot of metal shavings from the drilling. DON’T BRUSH THE METAL SHAVINGS OFF YOUR CAR. YOU WILL NO DOUBT LEAVE FINE SCRATCHES THROUGHOUT.
  • 18.Enjoy.
